WEB & DESIGN
A quieter page.
A useful page does not need much. It needs a clear purpose, room to read and a sensible next step.
Start with the words
A title should help a reader decide whether to stay. Short paragraphs make a thought easier to follow. Links work best when their labels tell you where they lead.
Leave room to breathe
Spacing gives a page rhythm. A comfortable line length and a little extra room between sections help the reader keep their place, especially on a small screen.
Make the essentials work
Navigation should remain useful without animation. Text should keep its contrast. A keyboard should reach every link. These are small details, but they shape the whole experience.
Keep the page light
Use an image when it adds meaning. Prefer a simple layout when it explains the content well. A page that asks less of the reader's device leaves more room for the idea itself.
An open notebook, one small idea at a time.
